Nini Yusof Chief Executive Officer, Media Prima Content and Television Networks and Primeworks Studios

Prior to her latest appointment, Nini was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Media Prima Content and Television Networks. Her previous senior positions include Chief Content Officer of Media Prima OMNiA and Primeworks Studios, Director of Sales and Strategy of MPTN.

Nini was responsible for channel business, led content commissioning and operations across the business portfolios including the content development of Tonton and digital transformation of news and current affairs. Nini was instrumental in establishing strategic monetisation of content to various streaming and broadcast partners.

As the CEO of Primeworks Studios, she oversees film production, marketing, distribution and other film investments including foreign partnerships. In 2025, she executive produced and marketed two of Malaysia's all-time top-four films (Blood Brothers and Ejen Ali The Movie 2).

In 2016, she launched a joint venture between Media Prima and South Korea's CJENM for Home Shopping and E-Commerce business — CJ Wow Shop (now known as Wowshop). The joint venture was a key business transformation initiative aimed at diversifying the Group's revenue streams.

Before joining Media Prima, Nini was with NBC Universal. Prior to that, she was with Fox Networks Group and STAR TV. Based in Singapore, she was responsible for affiliate sales and marketing, distribution in Asia Pacific including the iconic National Geographic Channels, FOX and STAR brands. She was also part of the Fox International Productions film development team for the Indonesia market. Nini started her career with KPMG.

In September 2024, Nini was the recipient of the prestigious Media Luminary Award by the National Press Club (NPC) Malaysia in recognition of her outstanding contributions by senior women in journalism, especially those who have shown leadership, ethical standards, and lasting impact in the media landscape.

Nini is a Council Member of Content Forum (CMCF), Persatuan Filem Malaysia (PFM) and Creative Content Association Malaysia (CCAM).
